The YP Foundation’s Safe Abortion For Everyone (SAFE) programme advocates for comprehensive abortion services in India by generating evidence through research and encouraging youth-led advocacy through our multilingual online courses and fellowships.
SAFE Programme uses a multi-pronged approach to create an enabling environment for safe and legal abortion information and service access through evidence generation and youth-led advocacy. Currently, it is conducting exploratory research on the widespread myths and misconceptions on abortion in Assam, Delhi and Kerala.
Free Online Course
We also offer online courses which are free, rights-based, intersectional and youth-friendly and are available in 3 languages—Assamese, English, and Malayalam.
SAFE Fellowship
We also run a fellowship to support capacity building of young people advocating for abortion rights across different marginalised groups. SAFE intakes two cohorts of fellows each year – click the button below to see if we are accepting applications.
